Synopsis:

While King Richard is away fighting in the Crusades, his greedy brother, Prince John, and the cruel Sheriff of Nottingham impose crippling taxes on the people, leaving the villagers struggling to survive.

Robin Hood returns home from the Crusades to discover how badly the people have been treated. Reuniting with Maid Marian and his loyal friends—including Little John, Will Scarlett and Friar Tuck—he resumes his mission of stealing back the Sheriff’s ill-gotten wealth and returning it to the poor. Along the way, the audience is treated to plenty of classic pantomime comedy, audience participation, ‘terrific’ puns, songs, and a larger-than-life Dame character, Lady Patty Picklepants.

The Sheriff, determined to rid himself of Robin once and for all, devises increasingly elaborate schemes to capture him, including an archery competition designed as a trap. Robin and his friends must outwit the Sheriff and Prince John, protect Marian and Robin’s mother from losing their home, and inspire the people of Nottingham to stand up against injustice.
