Kelvedon Players have been providing amateur drama in Kelvedon for over sixty years. A wide range of play styles have been produced over the years with everything from pantomime to comedy, farce, drama and musicals.
With three or four productions each year, we are continually on the lookout for new members whether to act or to provide technical support.

Currently £15 per annum or £8.00 for people in full-time education or for Senior Citizens. (Payable November each year)Full members are able to participate in all the activities of the group, e.g. Directing/Producing, Auditioning, Acting, Lighting, Sound, Set Building, Scene Painting, Sitting on the Committee, Voting, Receiving Full Newsletters.
Currently £3.00 per annum, with no concessions. Associate Members receive Newsletters (but not attachments relating to auditions) and other news and are invited to attend any social functions and outings organised by the group. If an Associate Member wishes to become a full member, then the difference for full membership must be paid.
Please note that Associate Membership is not intended for people to hop in or out of depending whether or not they think they are going to get a part.
If you would like to direct a play with Kelvedon Players, you will need to submit your proposal to the Committee for consideration. This would normally be required at least 18 months in advance of your proposed production dates but the sooner the better to secure your preferred dates.
The actual dates will be decided by the committee but in general terms the slots available are :- the Pantomime in January/February, the Spring production in May and the Autumn production in October. (Click here for the current list)
